Michael A. Petrecca
Michael Petrecca joined the Columbus Partnership in 2018.
Michael is the Managing Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Columbus and a Tax Partner in the Private Company Services practice for Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana (OKI) Market. Michael has served a variety of emerging, high-growth clients operating in several industries including manufacturing, distribution and technology. Michael is well-known in tax structuring, planning and compliance issues impacting closely-held businesses and their owners, and developing creative tax and business planning strategies. Michael has expertise in providing a tax perspective in areas including wealth preservation, succession planning, and estate transferring. He has had successful negotiations with various tax issues with Internal Revenue Service and multiple state taxation officials on behalf of his clients.
Michael serves on various boards in Franklin County. Current Board memberships include The Columbus Club (Treasurer), Zoombezi Bay (Treasurer), The Childhood League Center. Prior Board memberships include Past Board Chair, Columbus Museum of Art and CAPA (Columbus Association for the Performing Arts), Past Board Member, Walsh University, Past President, Columbus Rotary Foundation, Past Chair of Membership and Business Plan Committees, Columbus Investment Interest Group (CIIG), a Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce organization and Past Chair, E3 Ohio. Other associations include the Ohio Business Roundtable and the Columbus Partnership.
Michael is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Walsh University and a graduate of The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He resides in Upper Arlington with his wife Dr. Heather Grant and daughter Abigail.
