Joel S. Pizzuti


Joel S. Pizzuti, President of The Pizzuti Companies, became a member of the Columbus Partnership in 2018.

Established in 1976, The Pizzuti Companies is a leading full-service real estate development firm.  Headquartered in the Short North Arts District, Pizzuti has developed more than 45 million square feet of institutional-grade commercial, residential, industrial, and hospitality developments throughout the Midwest and Southeast.  Recent projects include the Joseph Hotel & the Offices at the Joseph; Pinnacle Business Center – a 1,000 acre industrial park outside of Chicago; the Innovation Campus business park in New Albany; the Creekside and Rickenbacker West Business Parks; Heathrow International Business Center in Orlando; The Joseph Nashville – a 297-key luxury hotel under development in the SoBro neighborhood of Nashville; and a variety of mixed-use projects throughout Columbus.

Pizzuti Solutions is team of experienced architects, planners, and project managers dedicated to public/private partnerships.  Serving as Owner’s Representative for local governments, non-profits, and businesses, Pizzuti Solutions oversees major planning and development projects throughout the United States.  Recent projects include the Michael B. Coleman Government Center, Columbus Metropolitan Library’s 2020 Building Plan, the Gold LEED Certified Franklin County Courthouse, and The Hancock – a luxury boutique hotel developed for Marathon Petroleum in Findlay, Ohio.

The Pizzuti Companies and the Pizzuti family have been involved with a number of central Ohio charitable organizations and arts initiatives for over four decades.  Joel serves on the board of Experience Columbus, and is the President of the Short North Alliance.
